V. Crystal Chinn, Founder of Here 2 Help Association, is a DEBCC Enrich Delaware™ MBA graduate, bringing formal training in leadership, strategy, and organizational growth to her work in empowering under-represented women, children, and families. Her vision combines faith, compassion, and professional excellence to build lasting community transformation.
Message from Founder
Life has a way of shaping us through hardship, and my journey has been no exception. I know what it feels like to struggle, to wonder how you’re going to make ends meet, and to feel like the odds are stacked against you. There was a time in my life when I found myself relying on public assistance and various programs designed to help low-income mothers as I once was. While I was grateful for the help, I also felt the weight of the system, the limitations, the lack of real empowerment, and the struggle to break free from the cycle of just surviving.
Through those challenges, I discovered my purpose. I didn’t want to just receive help; I wanted to be a help and a resource for other families. I wanted to create something that didn’t just provide temporary relief but equipped people with the tools, resources, and opportunities to change their lives. That’s why I founded Here 2 Help Association~a nonprofit dedicated to standing in the gap for individuals and families in need.
We provide real tangible assistance, whether it’s rental aid, food support, job training, or mentorship to not only help people survive but to thrive. I believe that no one should feel helpless, and through Here 2 Help Association, I am committed to making sure that those who are struggling know they are not alone. I’ve been there and now, I’m here to help.
Being a mother of eight, I have a passion for children to thrive and for women to be emotionally healthy and financially independent. My ultimate goal is for Here 2 Help to first meet the need of low-income families and then empower them to tap into their natural born gifts so that it turns into their generational wealth.
